Comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations

Comprehensive psychological evaluations are powerful tools for promoting success in school and life. By gaining a broad understanding of the root causes of emotional challenges and learning differences, these assessments pave the way for effective interventions, inclusive and supportive environments, and empowered advocacy.

I have had extensive experience in psychological assessments for the past nine years. In my graduate experience, I trained in a psychological evaluation clinic to assess a wide variety of presenting problems. During my internship year, I was trained under a neuropsychologist to assess for learning disabilities and autism. I served as the Director of Psychological Assessments at a private practice in Dayton where I further refined my evaluation skills and supervised clinical psychology students implementing evaluations. I have also worked in the school system for six years completing psychoeducational evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services and provide recommendations to support student’s success in the classroom.

I am trained in a broad range of measures to identify disabilities such as learning disabilities (dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia), autism, attention-deficit/ hyperactivity disorder, depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder. I create a unique battery for each evaluation based on the client’s needs. I identify root causes for emotional challenges and learning differences while accessing your strengths and making recommendations to support areas of growth to help unlock full potential.
